Genuine BV certificates reference bureauveritas.com. Contact via the official website, not details sourced from the document under review.
4. Red flags
- Certificate cannot be found in Veristar
- The issuing society uses a name resembling “Bureau Veritas” with additions (“International,” “Maritime Bureau Veritas,” etc.) that are not the genuine entity
- Certificate contact email is at a free or unrelated domain
