The Polish Register of Shipping (PRS) is Poland’s national classification society and a full IACS member. It provides classification and statutory certification services to Polish-flagged and international vessels.

1. Use the PRS vessel search
PRS provides online access to class records through its official website. Search by IMO number to verify current class status.
2. Red flags
- Certificate contact email not at a PRS domain
- Classification society named anything other than “Polish Register of Shipping”
- No unique certificate reference number
