2. Check the certificate’s issuing domain

Genuine UK P&I Club documents reference ukpandi.com. The “United P&I” variants — unitedpandi.org, unitedpandi.com, unitedpandi.net — are fraudulent and have no connection to the UK P&I Club.

3. Verify with the correspondent listed on the certificate

Authentic UK P&I certificates list a local correspondent for the port of call. Contact that correspondent independently (find their details through ukpandi.com, not from the document itself) to confirm the vessel’s entry.

4. Red flags

• The club name is “United P&I,” “UK P&I International,” or similar variations
• The website domain is anything other than ukpandi.com
• No correspondent listed for the relevant port
• Certificate contact email at a free email provider

Known Fraudulent Impersonators

unitedpandi.org, unitedpandi.com, and unitedpandi.net operate as fake P&I clubs. Certificates from these sites have no insurance backing.
